Here at Stonehouse Kennel we are focused on breeding the incomparable Boxer dog.
We chose the Boxer for several reasons. My husband, Wally, and I have been fans of the Boxer for many years. During that time, our children started coming along. We had dogs during this time, but they passed on one by one due to age. After a few years of no dogs, I wanted to fulfill a lifetime dream of owning a kennel. Wally converted his workshop into an indoor facility for me. Choosing the breed, no problem. The Boxer is well known for being wonderful with children. It was a natural choice for us.
Our children are very involved in the process of raising Boxer puppies. From cleaning kennels to feeding, watering and exercising each dog everyday. Each one of our adult dogs is easy enough for our children to handle. Even our youngest, at age 5, participates by giving hugs and treats. Our puppies are very well socialized because there are so many helping hands.
Our facility in located just minutes off of I-75 in Cleveland, TN. We have an indoor facility on 4 1/2 acres, so our dogs have plenty of room to stretch their legs. We have a heated/cooled puppy barn for whelping and raising our precious puppies.
Our goal is to raise healthy, happy puppies and place them in homes where they will lead productive lives bringing their new families joy and happiness.
